LifeMD review

The most complete brand-name range we found, with lab work built in and a results guarantee — but government insurance disqualifies you entirely.

Overview

LifeMD carries every currently marketed weight-management brand: Wegovy pen and pill, Zepbound vial and KwikPen, Foundayo, Saxenda and Ozempic, plus a “Triple Therapy” oral combination of metformin, bupropion and topiramate. Compounded medication is available only “in certain situations, where clinically appropriate,” prepared by “a state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy partner” — brand-first with compounding as the exception, which is the reverse of most services here.

Lab work is genuinely integrated rather than mentioned: “comprehensive metabolic and lab testing to inform your care plan,” required “if you haven’t completed the required tests within the last 12 months,” covering diabetes, heart health, cholesterol and thyroid panels, with a provider reviewing results before the treatment plan. Only a handful of the sixty-plus services in this research do that.

The exclusion to read first: “those with any form of government healthcare coverage (including programs such as Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE)… are not eligible.” LifeMD does not accept insurance for the programme itself but runs a benefits check for medication coverage, and advertises “as low as $0 copay” for branded GLP-1s where a commercial plan covers them. It also offers “lose 10% of your weight or your money back,” terms applying.

Medications and supply

Both, but brand-first — compounded is described as an exception used only where clinically appropriate, via a state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy partner.

  • Wegovy (semaglutide) pen and pill
  • Zepbound (tirzepatide) vial and KwikPen
  • Foundayo (orforglipron)
  • Ozempic (semaglutide)
  • Saxenda (liraglutide)

  • Compounded medication where clinically appropriate

No. LifeMD states that those with any form of government healthcare coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE, are not eligible for its GLP-1 weight-loss programmes.
